The funky passage on the homepage is from "Prelude," The Clones of Dr. Funkenstein (1976). Note that I have never heard the song, and am not particularly into funky music, but i agree with the sentiments expressed in the passage.
Please note that many pages on this website are full of notes to myself -- often i copy and paste things that other people have said without bothering to attribute them (since i can just use google to find the original). So please don't think that everything here was written by me. You can usually tell which pages are full of copied and pasted bits of other people's words, and which are a coherent presentation of an idea that i wrote myself.
