so i guess the rep controls for comments are:

• on the left, an up arrow and above that, a two-up arrow with a '+' on it (an up arrow with two heads, the middle head just lines and the top one solid)
• at the bottom, agree / disagree pseudo-hyperlinks
• a questionmark pseudo-hyperlink

Perhaps the two-up arrow does three things at once (not sure about this though, we may just want to never promote comments):

• upvote +2
• mark these upvotes as supporting the comment for a promotion to a standalone top-level comment, not just as a reply to its parent
• pop up a display box for donating more Merit to this comment (does this other Merit count as more upvotes too? if so, that would break the clone-independence of proportional score voting)

Next to the agree / disagree pseudo-hyperlinks, we show the percentage agreement, moved towards 50% by 95%-confidence (that is, take the upper or lower bound of the 95% confidence inverval, whichever is closer to 50%, or 50% if it's within this interval). Perhaps if you mouseover or something you can get the absolute agree/disagree numbers.

When you click on the questionmark, a box pops up where you can predict that either the comment rank will go up, or will go down, or will stay about the same.
