        In brief, I believe that media diversity is a crucialrequirement for a free and democratic society. I believe that America is faced with a problem of dwindling media diversity, which makes it easier for large concentrations of power to control the nation's political agenda. I believe that this is true at the national level, but also at the state and local level.
