Notes on apps that I don't recommend

Android Agenda Widget Would have replaced my built-in Calendar widget, but I want the text to be larger and for the current date to be displayed, and these don't happen unless you select a widget size that takes more than 4 spaces, which is too much for me. Also, the add new event button on the border would be really convenient, but it is too small to reliably hit

Old

the rest of this page contains some old notes on various Android apps. i wrote these notes shortly after getting the phone. See notes-computer-android-apps for my current app recommendations.

Apps that I have installed

Since I just got the phone recently, I'm probably not going to use most of these, and will uninstall them. Perhaps I'll update this page someday with just the apps I found useful.

I've written short descriptions of some apps. Undescribed apps are either things I haven't tested, or things whose function is obvious based on the name. The left hand column contains a star for apps that I've actually used for real (not just tested).
